The blink of an eye...

So I started out a year ago with great intentions to blog about our family life and lessons we have learned along the way.  A year has come and gone and I've posted nothing.  I've come to this page many times ready to post but something holds me back.  I can give a million reasons but the reality is they are all just excuses.  Just excuses!  And I am not a fan of excuses.  So...this changes today!  Here and now, I vow to use this blog.  What's the point of creating it for it to stay dormant.  I want to create a place I can share our journey and express what's going on - the good, the bad, and the ugly.  I want to share life lessons and inspiration.  So here goes...it starts now!  Ready or not....here we go!

Getting Started Is the Hard Part...

I've wanted to blog for some time but getting started seemed like the hard part.  I'm thrilled to have a place to share some of our family life and the realities that come with it.  Life isn't always pretty or perfect but there is always joy in the journey if you allow it.  There is a silver lining to every cloud and when you remember that everything happens for a reason, it's easy to find the rainbow in the rain, the gem in the rock, and the joy in the journey.  I want to share with you some of what inspires us and pushes us forward on a daily basis.  Our lives have changed beyond belief the past 4 years and I know this is just the beginning.  I can't wait to share it with you step by step because there are a lot of miles of unwalked sand in front of us....
